Marjorie Barretto revealed Recom Echiverri is her youngest daughter’s father
Marjorie Barretto finally admitted that former Caloocan City Mayor Recom Echiverri is the father of her youngest daughter Erich.
Netizens were surprised early last year when Marjorie introduced a young girl on her social media posts. Her children also posted photos of the youngest addition to their family. Erich was already six years old back then.
Following that revelation, many wondered who is the father of Erich. However, Marj, along with her other children remained tight-lipped about this. Then, rumors surfaced pointing to Recom Echiverri as the child’s father.
Rumors even hyped up when the former mayor was spotted during the 7th birthday party of Erich. The fact that photos with him during the event were deleted added heat to the speculations.
In the recent conflict between the Barretto sisters, Gretchen brought up the issue about Erich’s father once again. She even challenged her younger sister to reveal his identity along with her revelation of the “truth”.
Finally, Marjorie Barretto broke her silence and admitted on national TV that Recom Echiverri is the father of Erich. “Recom Echiverri is the father of my youngest daughter. That’s all I have to say,” she bravely stated to Karen Davila during an interview.
She also said that she knew that having a child with a married man is not right. The former actress explained, “Alam mo, hindi ako perfect. I’m very strong in many ways, pero sa pag-ibig talaga, mahina ako. I’m sorry, I’m not very proud of it. That is the reason why I was not announcing to the public.” Marjorie added during the interview that she chose to keep that information in order not to hurt more people.
