Here’s A Video Of Some Citizens Doing This To An Oarfish After They Found It In Seacoast

A deep-sea creature called Oarfish has been found floating beside the seacoast. What happens next elicits reactions from netizens on Facebook.

Over the past few years, the appearance of oarfish in shallow waters was linked to natural calamities such as earthquakes and tsunami. Some people believe that this sea creature is a prophet of doom and its occurrence in shallow waters indicates an impending calamity.

Recently, a Facebook page named “Michael Apacible Bulletin” upload a video of an oarfish floating beside the seacoast somewhere in the Philippines. Citizen’s reaction after they have seen it gain various comments online.

Students who were filming it are the only people in the seacoast, later on, a group of men came and go down to check the oarfish. They pull out the oarfish from the hole beside of the seacoast.

What these men did to the oarfish was unpleasant. They have ended the life of the poor and harmless oarfish.

However, they have no right to end the life of marine wildlife either its in the law or not. As you can see in the video they are cheering up after they caught the oarfish.

A Japanese seismologist also said in a statement that the appearance of deep-sea creatures in shallow water indicates the occurrence of natural calamities such as earthquake because of their sensitivity to sea ground activities.
