Samantha Lo wasn’t able to attend Miss Grand International 2019 pre-pageant activities
Where is Samantha Lo? This question surfaced as the Pinay representative for Miss Grand International 2019 is nowhere to be found.
The said international beauty competition is set to take place on October 25, 2019, in Venezuela. Samantha already shared her pre-departure photo on her Instagram account last October 9. On October 15, the pre-pageant activities already started as the candidates had their press presentation.
However, days before the pageant, reports stated that the Filipina beauty queen returned to the Philippines. Based on the previous report, Samantha could not get a ticket to Venezuela when she was in Paris. However, the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. has not confirmed nor denied these speculations regarding the whereabouts of Samantha.
Meanwhile, during the send-off party for Bininibining Pilipinas International 2019 Patricia Magtanong, the beauty queen sisters of Samantha Lo was asked about her absence in Miss Grand International pre-pageant activities.
Patricia said that she has not talked to Samantha and she asked people to wait for the announcement because she has no idea what happened. Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2019 Resham Saeed said, “I know Sam has worked very hard for this and for me, we are just very happy that she’s safe.”
Based on the report from GMA News, the silence coming from the camp of Samantha could mean that she wants privacy to the issue surrounding her beauty pageant stint. Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2019 Gazini Ganados said that the least they could do is to be with Sam and show support for her.
Meanwhile, based on the report, the runners-up expressed readiness to replace Samantha Lo when a problem arises.
