Manny Pacquiao Stars In New Hollywood War Movie
MANNY PACQUIAO – The legendary fighting-Senator, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is set to earn another title, this time, in the fields of cinema.
Although there already are speculations that Pacman would be having a rematch against Floyd Mayweather, nothing has been confirmed. However, his new Hollywood project has been green-lit.
Manny Pacquiao is going to star in the latest Hollywood war film titled, “Freedom Fighters”. The production team behind it is a local company, “Inspire Studios.
Adding to this, they will partner with an undisclosed major US studio. Based on an article by ABS-CBN, the production is set to begin in 2020.
The film “Freedom Fighters”, is based on real-life events taken from the perspective of Lousie Reid Spencer, a WWII Survivor. He wrote a memoir titled, “Guerilla Wife”.
His memoir is about the experiences he had in the Philippines during the time of the Japanese Occupation. The film aims to let the audience see a glimpse inside “Hopevale”, a community established by the Americans.
This community was created by those who decided to stay behind and help local rebels with their fight. The rebel group is led by Colonel Peralta, which is Manny Pacquiao’s character.
Aside from his upcoming movie, Manny is still poised to take on new challenges in the boxing ring. In this previous article, we found about Pacquiao’s possible opponents.
Pacman will likely end up going into the ring with welterweight contenders. These would be Mikey Garcia or Danny Garcia.
Both Mikey and Danny are former world champions as well. Danny carries an impressive 35-2 record, which includes 21 KOs.
Mikey, on the other hand, has a 39-1 record with 30 KOs. Along with this, Mikey is also a four-division champion, while Danny held super lightweight and welterweight belts.
