Pacquiao Likey To Fight Either Mikey Or Danny Garcia
MANNY “PACMAN” PACQUIAO – The legendary boxer and senator, Emmanuel “Manny” Dapidran Pacquiao has his potential fights lined up.
The 40-year-old athlete is considered one of the greatest professional boxers of all time. He also defeated the younger boxer Keith Thurman via split decision at the MGM Grand last July 20.
According to an article by Philstar, Pacman will likely end up going into the ring with welterweight contenders. These would be Mikey Garcia or Danny Garcia.
Sean Gibbons, Pacquiao’s manager for his boxing affairs, stated that Pacman plans to return to the ring either in March or April 2020. According to Kevin Lole, he talked to Sean Gibbons.
In their conversation, Sean told him that the fighting Senator would be fighting someone named Garcia next. Although Mikey and Danny are not related, they still share the same “come-forward style”.
According to Philstar, that type of fighting is suitable for Pacman. In his recent fight with Keith Thurman, Pacquiao gave an impressive performance.
Both Mikey and Danny are former world champions as well. Danny carries an impressive 35-2 record, which includes 21 KOs.
Mikey on the other hand has a 39-1 record with 30 KOs. Along with this, Mikey is also a four-division champion, while Danny held super lightweight and welter weight belts.
Lole’s tweet also said that Shaw Porter is also a possible opponent for Pacquiao. That is, if he wins his super fight with Errol Spence Jr, he also said.
Lance Pugmire of The Athletic’s also tweeted out to Sean a picture of him and Errol Spence Jr. He asked Sean if Pacman would fight Spence next.
Sean then responded to him by sending him a picture of Mikey Garcia and Pugmire. After that, Pugmire then responded with “yes, that’s likely the better choice”.
But then, Sean sent Lance their ultimate choice, Floyd Mayweather. However, Gibbons said that at the moment they’re operating on “Mayweather time”.
