Malaysian Mother Eats Ice Cubes To Ensure Her Child Eats Well
MALAYSIAN MOTHER – A Malaysian mother made extreme sacrifices to ensure that her child’s well-being and future.
According to KAMI, one story in the Malaysian Film Festival featured a certain family whose situation sparked attention.
The mother, identified as Aisha Othman, go lengthes to ensure the future and well-being of her child, to the point that she only eats ice cubes in order to feed her child well.
Aside from that, along with her husband, in order to save gas, although they can afford bread, they gave it all to their child and settled for uncooked rice.
The mother eventually gotten used to eating ice cubes and rice she bought from her neighbor as they reportedly cannot afford to buy gas.
Her husband worked as a security guard and his pay is small enough to afford anything. This caught the attention of a film director named Azreen Madzlan, who promted to feature this story in their documentary in the Freedom Film Festival.
As per the report, this gave way for Aisha to work at a grocery store and along with her family, was added in a program by the Malaysian government.
Azreen made a post on May 25, almost 5 months ago, while they were filming the documentary of their family.
