Is talent fee the reason why Gabby Concepcion-Sharon Cuneta reunion movie is not yet happening?
GABBY CONCEPCION – The Kapuso actor clarified the “talent fee” issue over his most-awaited reunion movie with Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Undeniably, a lot of people are still hoping that the reunion movie of celebrity ex-couple Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta will happen. Many wanted to see “ShaGab” together again on the big screen.
Sharon and Gabby are a former married couple. Their loveteam is one of the hit tandems until now. A romantic relationship blossomed between the loveteam partners, they married, and have a daughter – KC Concepcion.
However, Sharon and Gabby’s romance did not last long. They separated with KC living with the Megastar. Meanwhile, their daughter are visibly close to both the actor and the singer-actress.
In September, Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta surprised a lot of people most especially the attendees of the Gabay Guro opening. The said tribute for the teachers was held at SM MOA Arena.
Gabby and Sharon had a duet on-stage. Prior to it, they talked and fixed the misunderstanding between them.
Recently, in a media launch for Beautederm, Gabby Concepcion spoke about his much-awaited reunion movie with Sharon Cuneta. Based on a report on Pep, the actor clarified the “talent fee” issue.
There were rumors that Gabby did not agree with the talent fee for the project with Sharon. To this, the Kapuso actor stressed that the talent fee is not a big deal for him.
“I also mentioned na wala akong talent fee. Mabigay lang yung video rights kay KC, lahat na rights kay KC, because that’s our legacy to our child,” he said.
Based on the report, Gabby expressed that he already told Sharon that he is okay with doing a movie even without a talent fee. Both of them will be the producers of their reunion movie but other producers may also join them.
“Ang hinahanap namin, sa totoo lang, kung meron lang kayong alam na istorya, ipadala nyo lang po sa amin, o i-Instagram ninyo o i-email ninyo [email protected],” he said.
Meanwhile, reportedly, it seem that the ShaGab reunion movie may not happen anytime soon. The Megastar still has a lot of projects to do in two(2)-year span.
