The social media users have reacted to the statement of Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo about traffic.

Last week, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo has been one of the most controversial personalities online after accepting the commute challenge. Panelo began his long commute from his child’s home in New Manila heading to the Malacañang Palace.

The Presidential Spokesperson left his child’s home around 5:15 am the walked 15 minutes to the main road between Gilmore and Balete Drive. The spokesman take first jeepney ride at Balete drive and arrive at the Malacañang Palace at 8:46 am.

Panelo also take selfies on jeepney before reaching Malacañang Palace after over four hours of travel. He also said of “Okay lang ‘yun” instead of acknowledging that he was already late and even advised the public to leave early to reach the destination on time.

The government executive also insists that there is no transport crisis. “My point there is that we are a very creative people,” Panelo said.
