Panelo Rides Public Transportation To Malacañang For His Commute Challenge
PANELO – Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo accepted the commute challenge and made good with his word on Friday.
The Presidential Spokesperson was challenged by Anakbayan to commute to work. This was after his statement that there was no transport crisis in the country.
Panelo took them up on their dare and rode a Jeepney to work on Friday. He even posted pictures of him inside the jeep to social media outlets.
He even held up a copy of a newspaper from The Philippine Star as he smiled for a selfie. Based on a report from GMA, here is the expected route the Spokesperson would take.
As per the report, Panelo was expected to start from an unspecified area, presumably close to his residence. There, he would take a jeep going to the LRT2 at the Betty Go-Belmonte Station.
Afterward, he would head to the Legarda station. Once there, he is presumed to take a short walk to Malacañang Palace.
Of course, netizens who got a glimpse of the Spokesperson took photos of his journey and uploaded it to social media.
A reporter from TV 5 commented on the tweet above and asked what route the jeep was taking. According to the uploaded of the photo, they were en route to Shop N from Marikina.
The Spokesperson even had time to talk to some of the commuters on his way to work. A netizen on Twitter shared her experience with the Spokesperson.
