Mayor Tied To Car, Dragged Along Streets by Furious Locals
FURIOUS LOCALS – The furious locals tied their mayor to a car and dragged him along the streets for ‘breaking’ his campaign promise.
Most of the politicians make promises during their campaign to earn the people’s sympathy or votes. Beautiful words and promises are the only things that come out from their mouth just to win an election.
Among the best promises they make are proving jobs, clean water, housing, and better roads. However, there are just some politicians who tend to fool the people just to get their precious votes.
Recently, there was a mayor in Southern Mexico who was dragged through the streets by furious locals. Based on a report from BBC News, 11 people took the politician out of his office, tied to a car and dragged through the streets.
Mayor Jorge Luis Escandon Hernandez suffered no major injuries said the police. The incident was the second attack of the farmers who he promised that he’s going to fulfill his promise to fix the road.
According to the report, the mayor would press charges to the 11 suspects for attempted murder and abduction. The video below is taken by a bystander outside Escandon’s office. It can be seen in the video that he was pulled out of the building by a group of men.
