A user by the name of Gabby (an alias) often uses the popular motorcycle-hailing app for its convenience and affordability. However, she never thought that she’d have the worst experience of her life because of it.

In an interview with DZMM, Gabby said that she fought her trauma and decided to speak out. She said she wanted to come out because she knew there are similar cases that never come to light.

Gabby stated that she was hanging out with her buddies in Project 6, Quezon City last Saturday night. At 8:42 p.m., she booked herself a ride with Ankas.

She noted that her usual commute back to her home in Eastwood would only take at least 30 minutes. She also admitted that she had a few drinks but could clearly remember what happened.

She recalled that at first, the Angkas rider was concerned for her. He was asking Gabby if she could still handle herself or if she felt like throwing up.

Afterward, she stated that they stopped in a dimly-lit street. That was when the rider allegedly groped Gabby’s privates.

She said that because of fear, she couldn’t react immediately. Gabby added that if she fought back, the driver might have brought her to the far corner and do something worse.

According to a report by ABS-CBN, Gabby pretended that she was oblivious to the alleged abuse. At times, she even pretended to be asleep.

This allegedly continued for almost 2 hours while they were going through the avenues of Katipunan and C.P. Garcia. “Ang tagal po no’ng tiniis ko na biyahe namin na hindi po ako nagsalita“, Gabby said.

Gabby allegedly went through all of that because she wanted the authorities to catch him at that time. They arrived in a corner near Eastwood at 10:20 p.m.

As they neared the corner, she saw some village watchmen. At that moment, she told the driver that she wanted to get off the motorcycle.

When she got off, she screamed for help. “Oh t******** ‘yan, hulihihin niyo ‘yan. Hinahawak-hawakan ako niyan. Hulihin niyo ‘yan“, Gabby said.

The village watchmen got hold of the driver. Afterward, they took him to the Anonas Police Station.

A complaint of lasciviousness was filed against the driver. Moving forward, Gabby said she wanted to elevate the criminal charges.
