Bianca Lapus defends Claudine Barretto against issues about mental health.
CLAUDINE BARRETTO – The close friend of the Optimum Star Claudine Barretto defends her against the issues involving her current mental health.
In a previous report, a certain site reported about the confession of Claudine Barretto’s friend. The friend confessed that the last phone call she received from the Optimum Star made her get worry and confused at the same time over the actress’ behavior.
Accordingly, the actress called her friend and over the phone, Clau was crying and she was unstoppable. To which brought confusion to the concerned friend as there have been no known problem of the actress that could make her behave that way.
The actress then called again and this time, Clau was laughing so hard while talking about something. The concerned friend was just thinking that perhaps, she is just practicing her acting skills as she has an upcoming project.
With this, to all the issues about her mental health, Bianca Lapus, Claudine’s close friend, revealed something about the actress. Actually, the Optimum Star is an advocate of mental health awareness.
Lapus said, “She is actually an advocate. In fact, she recently attended an event to raise awareness about mental health. Ang ayoko lang, pinapalabas kasi na baliw siya, imbes na tulungan siya makabalik. Hindi pa nga nakakatayo yung tao, pinipilayan na ulit.”
For Lapus, she felt like people are just waiting for the actress to make mistakes again to attack her while she did nothing but do everything for her recovery and to stand up again. She also revealed all the depression and trauma her friend had gone through especially when her ex-boyfriend Rico Yan passed away and her father being currently in a hospital and ill.
“Kaya loaded utak nun now. Very hands on siya, and it will not help if she gets to see negative news about her,” Lapus furthered. Previously, Claudine revealed that she has a panic disorder and is seeing her psychiatrist in a regular basis. It all started when Rico Yan died on March 29, 2002.
