Veteran Actress’ Amalia Fuentes Dies At 78 Today, Family Confirms
AMALIA FUENTES DIES – The family of the veteran actress confirmed that she passed away today, October 5, 2019, at the age of 78.
One of the veteran actresses who have made a great mark in the Philippine entertainment industry is actress Amalia Fuentes. She has made a lot of films and her tandem with her ex-husband, the late actor Romeo Vasquez, has produced a lot of projects.
Aside from being an actress, Amalia was also a film producer, a writer, and a director. She has her own film company – the AM Productions.
However, it is no secret to the public that Amalia’s health was challenged. She was bedridden in the past years.
Recently, a sad report about the veteran actress crossed the surface. The family of Amalia Fuentes confirmed that she died today, October 5, 2019.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, speaking to DZMM, actor Niño Muhlack confirmed that his aunt passed away at 4:00 am in the hospital today. It was four(4) days ago when she got confined.
According to Niño, the veteran actress always suffers from seizure even though she is already in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Based on the report, the actor revealed that she was bedridden and paralyzed for four(4) years.
Aside from Niño Muhlach, the grandchild of Amalia, Alyanna Martinez, also confirmed the death of his grandmother. She is her grandchild with her late daughter Liezl Martinez who married Albert Martinez.
