Mocha Uson Is Now Deputy Executive Director of OWWA
MOCHA USON – Former Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson was appointed as the new deputy executive director of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
Undeniably, in the field of politics, one of those people who really made a lot of headlines is former PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson. She received both support and criticisms in the issues she was involved in.
Uson is one of the staunch supporters of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Amid the issues involving, there were calls for her to resign as the assistant secretary of PCOO.
Uson eventually left her post in the PCOO. Prior to her running as a partylist representative, there were rumors that she’ll vie for a seat in the Congress or in the Senate in the May 2019 midterm elections.
However, the partylist of Uson did not go out victorious in the election. Recently, a new post was given to the former PCOO Assistant Secretary.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte appointed Mocha Uson as the new OWWA deputy executive director. It is based on the new list of the President’s appointees.
