Janno Gibbs is no longer part of the Pinoy remake of Miracle In Cell No.7
Kapamilya singer-actor Janno Gibbs reportedly “sinibak” from the Pinoy remake of the Korean drama movie Miracle In Cell No. 7 and the reason for this was unrevealed yet.
It is known to many showbiz fans that Janno went controversial early this year because of his posts that appeared to be criticizing the Kapamilya network regarding his inactive career. He was not also included in the previous Christmas station ID. His alleged scandal photo also added fire to the controversy which he already denied.
The remake of the Korean film features award-winning actor Aga Muhlach, who will play the character of mentally-ill man and was wrongly charged of assualting and murdering a young girl, and Bela Padilla will play as his character’s daughter who became a lawyer and defended his reputation. The younger version of Bela’s character will be played by Xia Vigor.
According to the article from Pang-Masa, initially Janno Gibbs was part of the cast members with John Arcilla, Ronnie Lazaro, and Mark Anthony Fernandez. Mr. Vic Del Rosario, the head of Viva Films, previously stated that the singer-actor was part of the cast. Behind-the-scenes photos showed that Soliman Cruz, JC Santos, Mon Confiado, and Joel Torre already started shooting for the movie. They were spotted together with director Nuel Naval.
On the other hand, Viva Films has not revealed yet the reason why Janno and the other actors were no longer part of the movie. This will be the official entry of the film company for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2019. Meanwhile, Vic Del Rosario promised that the remake of the movie will be more emotional than the Korean original, based on the article.
