DOT Taps Nas Daily To Display Beach-Rehabilitation Efforts in PH

NAS DAILY – The Department of Tourism (DOT) tapped the famous vlogger Nas Daily to display Philippines’ beach-rehabilitation efforts.

The Palestinian-Israeli travel vlogger Nuseir Yassin is known worldwide for his educational 1-minute videos on Facebook under Nas Daily. He uploads 1 video every Friday of the week.

The 27-year-old vlogged quit his job in 2016 to travel in different places around the world. He met the co-founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg in 2018. After their meeting, his Page upgraded to “show” status.

Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, Department of Tourism (DOT) invited the famous vlogger was invited to go back to Manila. He also had a meet and greet with his Pinoy fans.

The government agency tapped Yassin to showcase the Philippines’ beach-rehabilitation and natural attractions. He said he was also eager to report about the 6-month rehabilitation of Boracay Island.

“This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while. I’ve always wanted to showcase the rehabilitation efforts that you guys are doing. I heard a lot about the closing down of Boracay, tearing down walls and all those things. I wanted to see it for myself and report on it,” he said.

According to the report, the vlogger said the DOT didn’t ask him to become one of the ambassadors like Scarlet Snow and Jennermann. He’s just in the country for a project.

I’m just here for one project for them,” Yassin said.

Based on the report, Yassin shared that he and his team have visited several famous beaches in the country for their vlog. It will be released on their Facebook Page next week.

“We went to El Nido, we went to Boracay, we went to Puerto Galera, we went to Manila Bay. We went to most of the rehabilitation places as well,” he said.
