Claudine Barretto has this sweet birthday message for Rico Yan’s sister
Kapamilya actress Claudine Barretto shared her sweet birthday message for Tina Marie Yan, the sister of her former boyfriend Rico Yan.
Claudine and Rico were among the sweetest reel and real-life couples during their younger years. They did several hit TV series and movies. Fans did not just love their chemistry onscreen but also their relationship behind the camera.
However, a dreadful day came back in 2002. Rico died unexpectedly and that left Claudine devastated. After several years, the actress is still attached to her memories with the late matinee idol. She visits his grave regularly and still keeps his belongings such as his watch and love letters.
Last March, the actress shared a message for her former boyfriend and this made their fans emotional. “I thought of you today but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and the days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake from which I’ll never part. God has you in his arms. I have you in my heart,” the actress previously posted.
One thing that remained the same even Rico already passes away is the relationship of Claudine to his family. The actress is still close to the late actor’s sister Tina Marie Yan.
On September 27, Claudine Barretto shared a sweet birthday message for the sister of Rico Yan through her Instagram post. It was a screenshot photo of their video call. “Happy birthday to my Dearest Sister. Our swiss army & my Happy Pill.i luv u! @tinamarieyan” the actress wrote in her caption.
Apparently, Clau and Tina are constantly keeping in touch with each other despite that it has been almost 16 years since Rico passed away. Several fans of the actress also greeted the sister of the late actor. Here are some comments from netizens.
