Female Passenger Opens Plane’s Emergency Exit Door Moments Before Take-Off
FEMALE PASSENGER – Find out the reason why this female passenger opened the aircraft’s emergency door before take-off.
Lots of people are terrified of being on an airplane or helicopters because of the countless reports about planes crash in the past. However, there are airlines that have never had a major accident.
We have heard lots of news about passengers who tried to open the emergency door. That door shouldn’t be opened during a flight because it will affect the pressure of the cabin.
Recently, a Chinese woman made headlines after she tried to open the aircraft’s emergency exit door. Based on a report from The Sun, she attempted to open the door because the cabin was “too stuffy.”
The passenger claimed that she just wanted to breathe some “fresh air” because she’s having a hard time breathing inside the aircraft. The plane was still on the tarmac during the incident.
According to the report, the female passenger was on Xiamen Airline Flight 8215 last September 23. One of the cabin crew said the passenger tried to open the emergency exit door towards the end of boarding.
The flight attendants initially warned the Chinese woman and the others not to touch the lever of the door. However, the woman popped open the emergency exit door to get some air.
Based on the report, the flight crew and their passengers were forced to wait inside the plane as the cops turned up and arrest the female passenger for the offense. The staff of the airline said the incident caused 1-hour delay.
Netizens can’t help but react to the woman who tried to open the emergency exit door of the airplane. Here are some of their comments on the post:
@Robert E Hodge: “Guess she didn’t realise the gravity of the situation.”
@Dorothy Young: “So pleased she was taken away, no sense at all”
@Mike McPherson: “She was under a lot of pressure guys”
