PAGASA – Northeasterly Surface Windflow Affects North Luzon

PAGASA – Weather state bureau PAGASA recently said that the northeasterly surface windflow will affect areas in northern Luzon.

The weather bureau said that so far, no low pressure area (LPA) has been seen affecting the country.

According to Radyo Inquirer, in their 4AM weather update, a shallow brewing storm or low pressure area is expected to dissolve one it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The northeasterly surface windflow, on the other hand, will bring cloudy skies with slight chances of rain showers in the provinces of Isabella and Batanes; and a huge portion of Cagayan Valley Region.

As per the report, the capital Metro Manila, as well as the rest of Luzon and the country will experience fair weather with chances of rain in the afternoon or evening due to localized thunderstorms.

The bureau further raised a gale warning and suspends sea travel at the coasts of Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, northern coast of Cagayan and the northern coast of Ilocos Norte.
