Isko Moreno’s Statement About Sogo Hotel Makes Reporter Laugh
SOGO HOTEL – Manila Mayor Isko Moreno’s statement about the collapsed Sogo Hotel made a reporter laugh.
Actor-turned-politician Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is the current mayor of the city of Manila. He has been very hands on in reviving the city. In fact, he declared that it will be the wealthiest city in the National Capital Region (NCR) in 3 years.
Aside from making Manila great again, he’s also busy taking care of his people. Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, Moreno ordered the investigation to the portion of Sogo Hotel in Malate that collapsed while under demolition on Monday.
According to the report, Isko Moreno said the probe will determine who should be liable to the death of the two workers. City Engineer’s Office will investigate the tragedy.
“For the meantime, we don’t want to accuse anybody until may makita kaming pagkukulang sa part ng Sogo, or contractor ng demolition. The documents are with the city engineering already and ine-examine na kanina pang umaga,” he said.
Recently, a video of Isko Moreno being interviewed by a reporter surfaced on the internet. It was seen on the video that the reporter couldn’t help but laugh to the mayor’s statement. Yorme said he ordered for a temporary closure to the building and shared that during his inspection, he saw customers still inside their room.
“Eh nung pag pasok ko sa ilalim may customer pa… eh wala namang sense of urgency sabi ko bunutin na nila…”
“Bunutin na nila yung kuryente para bumaba na yung customer,” he said.
