How true is the accusation of a netizen that comedienne-singer Ethel Booba is allegedly mistreating her “katulong” and “labandera”?
From being a stand up comedienne in various comedy bars, Ethel was able to pave her way in show business. Her popularity took a higher notch because of her guestings on TV and appearances in movies.
However, a few days ago she expressed that she is not now enthusiastic in accepting stints on TV. It is for the reason that two shows in the Kapamilya network haven’t paid her talent fee yet. At first, she did not mention the name of the shows but several netizens challenged her bravery.
Then, Ethel revealed that her appearances on Minute to Win It and Gandang Gabi Vice were not yet compensated until now. According to her post she has been waiting for a year now for her talent fee from the game show.
Luis Manzano, the host of the game show already addressed the issue. He told the comedienne that he will check the problem. “Nagmessage na saken si Luis para tulungan macheck at hanapin sino may problema if sa bangko or sa management. Charot!” Ethel answered to a netizen.
The comedienne also answered an inquiry of a netizen regarding her unpaid TF from GGV. She said, “Okay na with GGV nakausap na at nagkahanapan na ng nawawalang resibo. Charot!”
This tweet of Ethel Booba received a comment from a netizen with an accusation. “Nay, di mo para binabayaran yung katulong at labandera mo tapos pinapaso mo pa daw sila ng plantsa,” Twitter user @UnofficialRedge said. This did not received a reply from the comedienne.
