NCRPO, PDEA Nets P204 M Worth Of Drugs ; Suspect Arrested

PHILIPPINE DRUG ENFORCEMENT AGENCY (PDEA) – The National Capital Region (NCRPO) and the PDEA had confiscated 30 Kilos of shabu valued at P204 million in Pasig City.

The drugs were seized at the Sorrento Oasis Residence in Pasig City. Authorities have also arrested suspect Manolito Lugo Carlos A.K.A. Lito and Tonge.

The suspect is allegedly working for a high profile drug syndicate inside the New Bilibid Prison. He is also said to be in charge of the logistics, as well as the distribution of illegal drugs.

Police had stated in reports that the suspect is a major player of an organized syndicate gang. They added that the gang manages an illegal drug trafficking operation in Region 3, Calabarzon, and Metro Manila.

According to a report by GMA, Carlos was a high-profile drug personality. Along with this, he was also one of the major targets of NCRPO.

In a joint operation, the NCRPO and PDEA stormed the condominium unit at 7:40 p.m. They brought with them a search warrant Executive Judge Danilo Cruz of the Pasig City Regional Trial Court.

The drugs were heat sealed in plastic bags each weighing at 1 Kilo. They were found inside luggage bags.

Recently, police have also seized P4.3-Million Worth of Suspected Drugs in Cavite. This was during a buy-bust operation.

Under the administration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the campaign against drugs was heightened. A lot of people were arrested during operations.

The operation was lodged at Barangay Paliparan 2. A member of PNP pretended to be a buyer and met with the suspect. The latter’s identity was not revealed.

Based on the report, the authorities arrested the suspect right away after handing over a small plastic to the buyer. It was in exchange of the Php 25,000.00 buy-bust money.
