Google To Unveil New Pixel Device Set In October
GOOGLE – Internet giant Google recently announced that the unveiling of the new Pixel phone is set on October 15 (Tuesday).
The unveiling, which will be held in New York City, will likely to also feature their Android-powered challenge against Apple’s iPhone 11 devices.
A report from GMA News states that the smartphone rivals usually unveils new hardware ahead of the holiday season, which includes Huawei, who recently showcased the new and improved Kirin 990 ahead of their Mate 30 series.
The Alphabet-owned company is set to release the 4th generation Pixel which could possibly have features such as face recognition and gestures. This is part of the company’s efforts to juice up their hardware. as well as theif software and online services.
As per the report, the announcement after Apple unveiled their iPhone 11 and surprisingly, cut off their entry prices from $749 to $699.
Apple also released their streaming and game subscription services Apple TV+ which is set to compete against video streaming giant Netflix.
As for Google, it is still struggling to enter the smartphone industry which is currently dominated by Samsung, a South-Korean-based company, Apple, and Chinese-based smartphone companies like Huawei.
