Coco Martin Reaction on Isko Moreno’s Performance As Manila Mayor
COCO MARTIN – ABS-CBN actor and director Coco Martin shared his thoughts on the performance of Isko Moreno as the mayor of Manila.
Kapamilya actor Coco Martin is one of the famous actors in the Philippine entertainment industry today. He is the lead actor of the top-rated show FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano that has been airing for more than three years now.
The cast of the action-drama series includes Yassi Pressman, Susan Roces, and John Prats among others. He also gave chance to actors who want to return to the limelight like Baron Geisler, Cogie Domingo, and Mystica.
In a previous article, Coco Martin met with the actor-turned-politician Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso a few days ago. The Manila mayor revealed that he proposed a youth empowerment project with the prominent actor.
Coco immediately said ‘yes’ to his project since he also wanted to inspire and help the young Filipinos. Their project is set to be launched this coming December.
During the Sine Sandaan event last September 12, Coco Martin was asked about his meeting with Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. He unhesitatingly expressed his thoughts about the performance of the politician. However, he did not share any information about their conversation.
FPJAP actor said it was he who invited the mayor for a meeting. He diverted the topic by complimenting Isko for all the positive changes in his city.
“Idolo ko yun eh… ako talaga ang sumadya sa kanya. Humanga ako ng appointment. Kasi matagal ko na siyang nakasama sa isang teleserye… may pinag-usapan kami…”
“Sabi ko nakakatuwa kasi ako, sobrang iniidolo ko siya sa lahat ng mga nagagawa niya sa Maynila. Actually, nahiya ako… bigla nagging sobrang idol ko siya,” he added.
