Here are the activities you can do with your kids to have a quality time with them:

Go on a picnic or you can head to the park for playtime. Enjoy playing with your kids. Surely, they would be glad to have you as their playmate. Another thing you can do while at the park is to make a kite and or paper airplanes. You can also have a campout, even just at your backyard.

You can also enjoy together doing the puzzle, playing board games, or watching a movie. If your kids want to go out, bring them to a museum, zoo, library when you can enjoy books together, or you can have window shopping.

All year-round, especially during summer, there are various workshops in which you can enroll your kids but be sure to be with them while doing the activities that interest them. You can also do volunteer works to together. This way, your kids will be more aware of their community.

The most simple that you can do together but still tightening your bond to each other is to have a face to face conversation. This does not mean that you will just talk about serious things. You can have a made-up story and your kids can contribute also, according to mommyoverwork.com.
