PAGASA: Weather Disturbance Outside PAR To Bring Rains

PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA recently announced that the other tropical depression outside PAR will bring rains over the Philippines.

According to the weather state bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration , the trough or the outer cloud band of the tropical depression will bring rain showers ranging from scattered to widespread over the following areas:

  • Regions
    • Calabarzon
    • Bicol Region
    • Mimaropa
    • Visayas
    • Zamboanga Peninsula
  • Provinces
    • Aurora
    • Quirino
    • Isabela
    • Cagayan

As for Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines, they will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with remote rain due to localized thunderstorms.

As per the report, Gener Quitlong said that the weather disturbance was last seen 1,645 kilometers east of Central Luzon. It will be called “Marilyn” once it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Thursday afternoon.

It is currently packed with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 70 kilometers per hour.

On their latest forecast, Quitlong further added that it is expected not to make landfall.
