Netizen Claims Insect Repellent Lotion Melt Her Landline Phone
NETIZEN – A Facebook netizen said her insect repellent lotion “Off Lotion” allegedly melted her landline phone.
On July, the head of the Department of Health (DOH), Francisco T. Duque III, declared a national dengue epidemic after the death of hundreds of patients nationwide. Some doctors and patients call for the return of the anti-dengue vaccine to the market.
Local officials in the country are doing their best to halt the spread of the dengue virus. In a previous article, a barangay captain released over 1000 frogs in esteros while the other one gave 1 kilogram of rice to the residents who could capture 200 dead mosquitoes.
Some Filipinos focus on cleaning their houses and dispose of all cans that could be the breeding sites of the mosquitos and use an insect repellent lotion anywhere. Among the most used repellent lotion in the Philippines is the Off Lotion.
Meanwhile, a Facebook netizen named Roszela Reigan shared her unsettling discovery. She claimed that the ‘Off Lotion‘ allegedly melted her landline phone.
The netizen even shared some photos of her landline phone. In the caption of the post, she said she put her opened Off Lotion and her landline phone inside her bag. In the morning, the lotion spread all over the phone and saw that a portion of the landline phone melted.
She doubted the lotion is safe for the skin considering it even melted the phones’ casing. The netizens’ Facebook post has generated 4.2 reactions, 19K shares and 21 comments as of this writing.
