Former model Deniece Cornejo is living this kind of life now after controversy with It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro.
The controversy wherein Vhong and Deniece were involved happened five years ago. The actor-host appeared before the media with his mauled face. He filed illegal detention charges against Deniece, together with businessman Cedric Lee. Vhong won that case.
Meanwhile, Deniece accused the noontime show host of raping her. She also filed a case against him but it was dismissed by the Department of Justice in 2017. Last year, Vhong, once again won the grave coercion case against them.
Behind all the cases, the characters in this controversy continued to live their lives as normal as it could be. Vhong Navarro focused on his showbiz career while Deniece Cornejo became an advocate of children’s welfare. She recently shared also on her Facebook account that she passed the online exams of Harvard Universiy for Children’s rights in theory and practice-international human rights law.
She proudly shared that she got the perfect 100 for the finals. Based on the report from PEP, Deniece will go to Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2020.
