This is the reason why Gerald Anderson never courted Arci Muñoz
Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson revealed the reason why he never courted Kapamilya actress Arci Muñoz when they had the chance to work together in a movie.
In 2016, the two stars of ABS-CBN worked together in the movie Always Be My Maybe. The following year, they also did another movie titled Can We Still Be Friends. However, they were not linked to each other romantically.
Amid the recent issue involving Gerald and his Between Maybes leading lady Julia Barretto, the name of Arci also surfaced. Netizens recalled the her past interview on Gandang Gabi Vice. When asked if Gerald courted her, she said “hindi ako mabibiktima“.
In line with that statement, which created negative implication to Gerald Anderson, Arci Muñoz clarified her side. She said that it was because she really thinks her male co-stars as her “tropa”. She pointed out that it will be awkward for her to have a romantic relationship with her leading men.
Her statement intrigued Joe Black, the best friend of Gerald Anderson and the former asked the latter about this. Arci shared what Gerald’s answer. “Sabi niya, “Alam mo, tinanong ko yung nag-viral na video na ‘hindi magpapabiktima.’ Tinanong raw niya si Geh kung bakit hindi [ako] pinormahan,” she shared, based on the report from Philippine Entertainment Portal.
According to Joe, this was the answer of Gerald to him: “Pare naman, si Mona (Arci’s nickname) pag nakasalubong ‘What’s up, bro?!’ Ganun na raw ako agad. Paano mo naman [liligawan]… trinopa, frinend zone na.” Arci added that before starting a project, she has a mindset that her leading men are her brothers.
