VHONG NAVARRO – After two previous complains were junked by the Court, Deniece Cornejo filed another rape complaint against actor-host Vhong Navarro.
Deniece Cornejo begins to spark news reports again after she filed another complaint against Vhong Navarro. Based on a news report in Lionheartv, this is the third attempt of the commercial model to file a complaint against the actor-host.
According to the lawyers of Vhong Navarro, they are wondering what made her file again a complaint as the previous ones that she has filed have been dismissed by the Court.
Based on the news report, the incident between Vhong and Deniece which happened around two years ago cannot be taken as ‘rape’ according to the Department of Justice (DOJ).
The lawyers of the It’s Showtime host tagged the move of the commercial model as ‘incredibly illogical’.
The camp of Vhong has also filed counter cases versus the commercial model. Based on the news report, what are included in the said cases were grave coercion and illegal detention.
The legal counsel of the actor-host, Attorney Mallonga, expressed that they have a case against Cornejo over lying that she is a rape victim.
According to Atty. Mallonga, their client is the victim of the incident and they believe that suspicions on Vhong will soon be cleared.
The case filed against Cornejo is now under the Metropolitan Trial Court in Manila for investigation. The camp of Navarro has already asked the Court to junk the complaint filed by the model against the actor-host.
