List of Areas Implementing Class Suspension Today (August 29)
CLASS SUSPENSION – Several schools in the different areas in the Philippines declared the suspension of classes today, August 29.
Recently, there were several suspension of classes implemented in the different areas in the Philippines. Most are due to the bad weather condition.
Starting June, the country is usually visited by low pressures and tropical storms. The people are advised to continually check on the updates from PAGASA for the safety of everyone.
Schools and local government units (LGUs) also suspend classes for the safety of the students. There is a high risk of getting sick when caught under the rain and the safety in traveling is twice at risk when the weather is bad.
Following the heavy downfall recently, several areas in the Philippines are experiencing flood now. This led to the suspension of classes in some schools.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, several schools in Davao City are implementing class suspension today, August 29. Here is a list of the schools that announced the suspension of classes:
- Wangan Technical High School, Calinan District
- Balengaeng Elementary School, Tugbok District
- Leon Garcia Elementary School, Talomo District
- Talomo Central Elementary School, Talomo District
Based on the report, other schools in Calinan, Tugbok, and Talomo Districts that are affected by flood also have no classes today. It includes both public and private education institutions.
