PAGASA: Wind Signals Lifted Ahead Of “Jenny’s” Leave

PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA lifted all cyclone warning signals on Wednesday morning as Jenny leaves further away from the nation.

A report from ABS-CBN states that the agency lifted Signal No. 1 over the following areas:

  • Cagayan
  • Apayao
  • Abra
  • Benguet
  • Ilocos Norte
  • Ilocos Sur
  • La Union
  • Pangasinan
  • Northern part of Zambales
  • Tarlac

Jenny, which was previously spotted 125 kilometers northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan at 4AM, was last seen 305 kilometers west northwest of the same thing at 10 AM and is bringing maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour with gustiness up to 80 kilometers per hour and is moving west northwest at 40 kilometers per hour.

As per the report, on the other hand, the southwest monsoon will bright to moderate with intermittent heavy rains over the following areas:

  • Western Visayas
  • Zamboanga Peninsula
  • Mindoro
  • Romblon
  • Palawan
    • Calamian
    • Cuyo Islands

Meanwhile, the following areas will face scattered rains:

  • Ilocos Region
  • BARMM
  • Zambales
  • Bataan
