PAGASA: Jenny Leaves Philippine Land, Heads To Lingayen Gulf
PAGASA – Weather state bureau PAGASA recently said on Wednesday that tropical depression Jenny has left the lands of the nation.
A report from ABS-CBN recently added that Jenny is currently heading towards Lingayen Gulf, further adding that it might enhance again into a tropical storm.
At about 4AM, Jenny, who was previously spotted 360 kilometers east of Daet, Camarines Norte or 490 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon, was currently spotted 125 kilometers northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
Jenny was also reported to had made landfall at 10:40 PM, Tuesday (August 28) on the municipality of Casiguran, Aurora.
As per the report, the weather disturbance is still now packed with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour with gustiness up to 85 kilometers per hour. Jenny is also reported to be moving west northwest at about 35 kilometers per hour.

- Aurora
- Benguet
- Bulacan
- Cagayan
- Ifugao
- Ilocos Norte
- Ilocos Sur
- Isabela
- Kalinga
- La Union
- Mountain Province
- Nueva Ecija
- Nueva Vizcaya
- Northern part of Quezon
- Polillo Islands
- Pampanga
- Pangasinan
- Quirino
- Tarlac
- Zambales
Light to moderate with frequent heavy rains will prevail over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya, the agency added.
On the other hand, light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains will be faced by Central Luzon, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Mindoro and Palawan.
This also prompted the local government in affected areas to cancel classes. Jenny is expected to leave on Wednesday afternoon or night.
