Make it or break it, here are some first impression tips.

FIRST IMPRESSION TIPS – Here are some tips for you and things you should never do to make a great first impression to someone you just met for the first time.

It is always significant to almost all people to make a great and nice impression to other people. Meeting a person for the first time would only take a little seconds to make some judgment about you, including your appearance, your body language, your demeanor, your mannerisms, and how you are dressed. And vice versa.

First Impression Tips

However, does first impression really lasts? On the other hand, here are some useful tricks and tips for you to make a great first impression:

  • A weak hand shake is a first impression killer significantly signifies shyness, anxiousness, being uninterested, and completely incompetent. And holding another’s one hand for a length of time is awkward. Make it firm and warm holding for no longer than two seconds especially during job interviews to show confidence.
  • When meeting someone, it is probably annoying and distracting talking to someone who has chewing gum on their mouth and constantly chopping it. It looks immature and self-centered and not appropriate if you wanted to leave a nice impression to a hiring employer if you are seeking for a job.
  • Always make and maintain an eye contact to who you are talking to as this move exudes confidence, attentiveness, and intelligence. And those who don’t make any connections through the eyes are being judged as insincere and unattractive.
  • Women who play with their hair in front of someone they just met might give an impression of flirting. Also, doing this while in the middle of a conversation during first meeting with someone gives them the idea that you are not confident, anxious, and uncomfortable.
  • Be aware of the topics you would like to talk about with someone you just met in order to avoid those awkward moments and you might not just know it but it might make the other person not comfortable with you.
  • If you are meeting someone for the first time, keep a 4-feet distance between the two of you.
  • Always checking your phone while talking to someone or amid the conversation might send the wrong idea to the person about you.
  • Be mindful about the time says Bright Side and never be late for your reason is not necessary to that person you are just supposed to be meeting for the first time. This could mean that you are not respecting their time.
