ALL STAR GAMES 2019 – Here are some of the show-stealing and funny moments of famous celebrities in this year’s Star Magic All Star Games.
This year’s All Star Games was held on August 25 at the Araneta Coliseum hosted by Eric Nicholas and DJ Jhaiho. It had six competing groups such as Team Jerome Ponce versus Team Elmo Magalona(men’s volleyball), Team Kim Chiu versus Team Julia Barretto (women’s volleyball), and Team Gerald Anderson versus Team Vice Ganda (men’s basketball).
And here are some of the highlights from the event:
- Kim’s team dominated Team Julia with the deciding final set ending in their favor 24-21.
- Zanjoe Marudo went out of the game during the second half after a neck to neck battle obtaining minor injury.
- The basketball game had a double overtime with the Team Captain Anderson fouled out during the first overtime. In the end, Team Gerald was hailed as victors.
- Rumored couple Vice Ganda and Ion Perez have show-stealing moments. For once, after Ion’s impressive 3-point shot, Vice went his way to the court and hugged him. Also, they were holding hands while Vice is dribbling the ball.
- A flying kiss from Xian Lim to girlfriend Kim Chiu was also a show-stopper before hitting the serve and it brought “kilig” to the audience while “Ikaw Nga Ba Si Mr. Right?” song was on the background.
- Also, present in the game Kathryn Bernardo to support her boyfriend Daniel Padilla. In every actor’s game, the actress never failed even once to show up.
- One of the highlights is also a three-point shot from Ryan Bang who was later got his clothes taken off of him by his teammates because of too much happiness. Anyway, he continued to play despite a torn-off shirt. His only job then is to guard their opponent’s captain Gerald Anderson.
