Pag-IBIG Fund To Release Updated Version Of Loyalty Card

PAG-IBIG FUND – Pag-IBIG Fund recently revealed and launched the updated version of their loyalty card now known as Loyalty Card Plus.

According to PhilStar, executives say that the discount and rewards card can also be used as a cash card.

Secretary Eduardo del Rosario, chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Council and the Fund’s Board of Trustees (BOT) said that the borrowers of the card can get proceeds of their multi-purpose loans, MP2 Savings Program dividends, and more.

Del Rosario further said that this will be easier since they do not have to wait for the checks to be clear and the proceeds will be accessible in ATMs. He further said that it is an addition to the fund’s current cash cards which are available to the members who applied for the loans.

He also said that this is also one of the many ways of the fund that will provide simplified processes and a fast delivery of service.

As per the report, del Rosario revealed that they collaborated with the top banks in order to enable the cash card feature of the new loyalty card. As of now, the banks who collaborated with Pag-IBIG are Union Bank of the Philippines and Asia United Bank.

Pag-IBIG’s chief executive officer Acmad Rizaldy Moti, said that the card can also be used as a debit card as it is equipped with an EMV chip, which is one of the technologies used in debit or credit cards. This is in order to have more secure transactions.

The Loyalty Card can be attained easily since it is printed on site in branches where the members applied.
