1-Year-Old Boy Dies After Accidentally Picked Up By Payloader
1-YEAR-OLD BOY – A 1-year-old boy in La Paz, Iloilo died after accidentally picked up by a payloader.
There are thousands of accidents happen all over the globe per second and could happen to anyone even on toddlers. Lots of children die from unintentional injuries every year.
That’s the reason why most parents are doing their best to keep their children safe from injuries and accidents. However, there are also who made some lapses in taking care of their kids.
There was a tragic accident that happened recently to a child in La Paz, Iloilo. Based on a report from GMA News, a 1-year-old boy “Nonoy” was just playing in the construction site when he was accidentally scooped up by a payloader.
A witness said he immediately called the attention of the driver of the payloader after he saw the boy. The operator immediately stopped working after noticing him.
According to the report, the operator of the payloader though he hit the toddler. The witness then told him that that toddler was scooped in the bucket.
It was reported that the construction workers have already informed the mother several times to watch her kid while they’re working near their house. The kid’s father said his wife thought the child was just beside her while cooking.
The toddler’s mother said she did not notice him leaving her side. When she could not find the young boy on her side, she went out of the house looking for him.
Based on the report, Nonoy obtained lots of bruises in different parts of his body. He was brought to the nearby hospital for medical treatment but was declared dead-on-arrival.
The young boy’s parents are not going to file a case against the operator. He offered to pay for the memorial service.
