Class Suspension Declared In These Areas Today (August 7)
CLASS SUSPENSION – The local government units declared the cancellation of classes in several areas due to the effects of Tropical Storm Hanna.
Tropical Storm Hanna continue to affect the weather condition in the Philippines over the past few days. The weather disturbance also enhances the southwest monsoon that brings heavy rain over some parts of the country.
The combined effects of the Tropical Storm Hanna and southwest monsoon or locally known as Habagat prompted different schools to declare the suspension of classes.
On Wednesday (August 7, 2019), several local government units have suspended the classes in several areas due to the inclement weather condition.
The class cancellations have been done to ensure the safety of the students from the possible danger posed by the tropical storm.
