Class Suspension Declared In These Areas For Tuesday (August 6)
CLASS SUSPENSION – Several local government units have declared the cancellation of classes over some parts of the Philippines.
Over the past few days, Tropical Storm Hanna continues to bring heavy rains and strong winds in different areas. Hanna has maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 105 kph.
The combined effects of the tropical storm and enhanced southwest monsoon prompted some schools to declare the suspension of classes.
On Tuesday (August 6, 2019), the classes in several areas have been also suspended due to the inclement weather condition brought by Tropical Storm Hanna.
The local government units declared the class cancellations to ensure the safety of the Filipino students.
