GARY V – Kapamilya singer and dancer Gary V turned emotional during his birthday celebration in ASAP Natin To.
‘Pure Energy’ Gary V. is among the great performers in the Philippines entertainment business. He has three children with his wife Angeli Pangilinan namely Gabriel, Kiana, and Paolo.
The 54-year-old singer-dancer is one of the mainstays of the Kapamilya Sunday variety show, ASAP.
It can be remembered that Gary V has undergone heart surgery in May 2018 and his battle with kidney cancer.
On May this year, the veteran singer marked the anniversary of his critical open-heart surgery. Gary expressed his gratitude to all the doctors, his friends, and families for their undying support.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, Gary V turned emotional during his birthday celebration in ‘ASAP’ on Sunday, July 4. He thanked all his fans, family, and friends for always being with him after his performance alongside A.K.A Jam, Lara Maigue, Janice Javier and his daughter Kiana.
“You cannot imagine what a birthday like this means to me this year, to be able to stand on this stage with people from the ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’ family, with my friends who I have known for so long,” said Gary.
According to the report, Gary V cried of happiness as he felt all the love and care from the people who genuinely adores him.
“I’m sorry if I’m emotional. I told myself na hindi ako magiging masyadong emotional, but seeing how genuine and sincere the care and love from all of you here up on this stage, it makes me want to live some more, it makes me want to continue do what I’m doing for people like you. I love you, thank you so much,” he said.
The Filipino-Puerto Rican singer will surely make lots of people inspired by his talents and his story.
