Massive Amount of Garbage Destroys Steel Bridge in Bataan

A steel bridge in Sibacan, Balanga, Bataan has been destroyed by a massive amount of garbage during the severe flooding in the area.

Over the past few days, the combined effects of the southwest monsoon and a low-pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility bring an inclement weather condition over some parts of the country.

The LPA’s trough and Habagat bring heavy rains causing flood over several parts of Metro Manila resulting in a traffic congestion.

On Saturday morning (August 3, 2019), the river along Sibacan, Balanga in Bataan exceeds its normal level causing a flood in the area.

The severe flooding brought a massive amount of garbage that destroyed a steel bridge used by residents to cross the river.

“WATCH: Nayupi at tinangay ng kumpol-kumpol na basura at umapaw na tubig-ilog ang isang tulay sa Sibacan, Balanga, Bataan kaninang 7 ng umaga, ulat ni YouScooper Akira Kim Oliveria.
