In a report, ABS-CBN writer Darla Sauler announced that Toni Gonzaga is set to have a singing showdown with Asia’s Song Bird Regine Velasquez in ASAP.
Sauler revealed that the prominent actress is a huge fan of Regine. He said Toni has been singing Regine’s hit songs during her ‘konteresa’ days.
Recently, Toni Gonzaga uploaded her new vlog that featured her guesting in ASAP and duet with Regine Velasquez.
Gonzaga shared how she reached her dreams and how it all came in perfect timing. Her Youtube vlog is titled “When Your Childhood Dream Comes True!”
On the vlog, Toni Gonzaga expressed how grateful she was to have a duet with her idol Regine Velasquez.
“Now I’m sharing the same stage with my IDOL!!!… pwede pa palang mangyari… I can’t believe she’s singing my songs?!?!?!… I always thought in my head it would be the other way around, I grew up singing ALL HER SONGS…”
“It took me 20 years before I got to experience this and the BEST thing about the WAIT was WHEN IT FINALLY HAPPENED,” she added.
