List of Holidays For The Month of August 2019
WALANG PASOK – Here is the list of regular and special non-working holidays as well as the long weekend for the month of August 2019.
Nowadays, most Filipino people love holidays and long weekends, so they could spend more time with their family, friends, and loved ones during their short vacation.
Company and government employees would also have an opportunity to rest and spend the vacation with their personal businesses. Students could also sleep longer than their regular rest and could spend their time playing all day long.
Good news for Filipinos, August 2019 has several holidays and a long weekend that we could really enjoy.
Here is the list of holidays this month:
- August 11 or 12, 2019 (Monday) – Eid al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice)
Special Non-Working Holiday
- August 21, 2019 (Wednesday) – Ninoy Aquino Day
Regular Holiday
- August 26, 2019 (Monday) – National Heroes Day
- Long Weekend – August 24-26, 2019
However, the Malacañang Palace is yet to make an official announcement proclaiming August 11 or 12 (Eidul Adha) as a regular holiday throughout the Philippines.
