Authorities Arrest 2 Rappers in Drug Buy-Bust Conducted in Cubao
RAPPERS – Two(2) people who engage in rap were arrested by the authorities in a drug buy-bust operation conducted in Cubao, Quezon City.
The operations to nab the people who are allegedly involved in drug continues. It is one of the campaign promises of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to clean the Philippines from it.
Surprisingly, there were a lot of famous personalities in showbiz and in politics that were arrested during the operations lodged by the authorities. The extent of the presence of trade in the country is also saddening.
Recently, another buy-bust operation was conducted in Cubao, Quezon City.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, two(2) rappers were arrested in the drug buy-bust operation conducted by the authorities in Cubao. Aside from them, there were two other people who were also nabbed.
The suspects were not identified. The operation was lodged in Barangay San Martin de Porres in Cubao. The authorities seized 25 sachets of suspected drugs which is worth Php 13,000.00.
Based on the report, Cubao Police Station Lt. Col. Giovanni Caliao said that the suspects were arrested when they sold some for Php 300.00. One of the suspects denied the allegation.
According to the unidentified suspect, they were only writing a song there. They are currently faced with charges over their alleged violation of the Republic Act 9165.
