Toddler Takes Scary Ride on Airport Conveyor Belt

TODDLER – A toddler got injured after his wild ride on an airport’s luggage conveyor belt.

A kid’s misbehavior is just a common concern for parents. It’s like these little humans have limitless energy when they have taken plenty of sugar and rest and could spend the whole afternoon playing.

Kids have different characteristics, some of them are okay with playing with their toys while others find happiness in extreme things.

Meanwhile, a toddler was caught on Closed-circuit Television (CCTV) having a wild ride on a conveyor belt at an airport.

Based on a report from CNN, the 2-year-old boy got injured after he climbed into the luggage conveyor at Atlanta’s Hartfield-Jackson airport. The cops said the kid rode his way to the bag room.

The boy’s mom, Edith Vega, told the cops that she put down her son to print the boarding passes at Spirit Airlines. When she looked away briefly, the kid slipped away.

The toddler was seen on the video climbing on the baggage conveyor belt and was transported to the TSA bag room. The agent immediately stopped the belt as soon as they saw him.

Workers told Vega that her son has been riding on the conveyor belt for about 5 minutes.

“He just went a long ride away, I couldn’t even catch up… I wanted to jump in and try to go get him, but they didn’t allow me,” Vega said.

According to the report, the toddler obtained an injury during his ride on the belt. His right hand got swollen and bruised.

The Spirit airlines released a statement regarding the incident.

“Spirit Airlines is aware of an incident at Hartsfield-Jackson International in which an unattended child passed by a section of our ticket counter that was not staffed or open at the time…”

“The child was able to access a back baggage area via a bag belt and sustained some injuries. We are currently working with TSA and airport officials to ensure all protocol was followed. We wish the child the best in their recovery.”
