Netizens accused Gerald Anderson of “ghosting” Bea Alonzo after the latter revealed that as far as she knows they did not broke up.

For several days, netizens are just seeing cryptic posts from Bea regarding the alleged cheating that Gerald did to her. Photos of the actor with his Between Maybes co-star Julia Barretto emered online and this sparked speculations that they are now a couple. The fact that Bea has been liking posts showing their alleged cheating added heat to the speculations.

Both Julia and Gerald are silent about this, while the actress’ family keeps on defending her. Previously, it was alleged that Julia’s father Dennis Padilla talked to Gerald regarding this issue. Allegedly, the actor said that he and Bea already broke up before he started courting Julia.

However, Bea has no idea about this. In a recent interview, she spilled the beans. Bea Alonzo said, “Honestly, to my understanding, we did not break up. He just started not talking to me.”

With this, her supporters once again bashed Gerald Anderson on social media, even more than what the bashing he received because of the “ENOUGH” post Bea. The actor is also now accused of “ghosting” his girlfriend, rather his ex-girlfiend.

Ghosting, according to an article from Philippine Entertainment Portal, has this meaning: “the practice of ending a personal relationship with someone by suddenly and without explanation withdrawing from all communication”.

Several Twitter posts are already using the said term as a hashtag and with the name of Gerald. Even The General’s Daughter actor Paulo Avelino used the term on the micro-blogging site. He posted, “Na Bea Alonzo ka na ba bes? (three ghost emojis) #ghosting”
