#SaveRyanBang Trending On Twitter Amidst New Guest Korean Host On “It’s Showtime”
#SAVERYANBANG – Following up with the introduction of a new Korean host in “It’s Showtime”, netizens made the #SaveRyanBang which is now trending.
It all began when a contestant in KapareWho, a segement in “It’s Showtime”, where single women try to look for their match, introduces himself on stage. Under the name “Song-yupsal”, he pretended to speak Filipino in a Korean accent.
When Vice Ganda asked him in the same manner, he quickly revealed that he actually speaks fluent Tagalog and lives in Taguig. Vice then jokingly said to Ryan Bang that he will be replaced due to Song-yupsal’s fluency.
A day after, Vice officially revealed that “Song-gyupsal”, now revealed as Jinho Bae, will be the guest co-host on the show. Vice revealed that the director liked Jinho, noting that he has the potential, thus, a new Korean guest host will be added in the roster, aside from Ryan Bang. Jinho is scheduled to appear on Monday (June 22), which is today.
That being said, despite the fact that Jinho’s hosting will be temporary, netizens played along with the joke and made a hashtag on Twitter entitled #SaveRyanBang, which is currently one of the worldwide top trending hashtags on Twitter, with at least 19.8K tweets. Here are the following posts:
