Why is Nadine Lustre not chosen as new Darna?
NADINE LUSTRE – The Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre finally speaks about not being chosen to portray the iconic role of “Darna”.
Jane De Leon is the newest Darna and everyone is ecstatic and excited to see a fresh face to play such iconic role. Even the new Darna herself was shocked to know that she was chosen by the management for the role.
However, right after Liza Soberano backed out due to her finger injury, a lot of actresses have been mentioned by the people who are accordingly fit for the role and among the most favorite is Nadine Lustre. Everyone was already expecting and some were just actually waiting for a formal and official announcement about it but it did not happen.
Why was she not chosen for the role?
In her latest interview with CNN, she shared that to be compared to Darna who is strong and powerful is such an honor for her. And to be one of the many personalities whom people think are perfect as Darna was a nice feeling but she did not auditioned for it the reason why she was not chosen.
