Class Suspensions Declared In These Areas Today (July 16)

Class Suspensions – Some local government units have declared the cancellation of classes in several areas due to the inclement weather condition.

On Tuesday (July 16, 2019), the classes in some parts of the country have been suspended due to the effects of Tropical Depression Falcon.

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that Tropical Depression Falcon and the southwest monsoon would continue to rain over some parts of the country, particularly in Eastern Visayas.

The local government units announced the cancellation of classes to ensure the safety of the students.

Here is the list of class suspensions on Tuesday:

ALL LEVELS

CALABARZON

• Cavite City

Eastern Visayas

• Biliran Island province

Northern Mindanao

• Kapatagan town, Lanao del Norte

Albay

• Guinobatan, Polangui, Libon and Ligao City

PAGASA said that Falcon was expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Friday (July 19, 2019).
