The official trailer of Maleficent 2 featuring Angelina Jolie is finally out.
The long wait is over for fans of Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie as the official trailer of Maleficent 2 is finally released.
Angelina captured the hearts of movie fans when she played the role of Maleficent, a fairy who became bad due to heartbreak. The first movie was released back in 2014 which also featured Elle Fanning who played the role of Aurora.
Recalling the first movie, Maleficent took care of Aurora and the sequel is set five years to the future. The young lady now found love with a prince and they were about to get married.
“Love doesn’t always end well,” the evil fairy said to the princess who she considers as her daughter.
Since Angelina’s character does not believe in true love, she tries to hinder Aurora. Queen Ingrith, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, thanked Maleficent for taking care of Aurora. However, the Queen is now considering the princess as her own.
This did not sit well with the evil fairy and her fury burst out.
A scene in the official trailer showed that Queen Ingrith was persuading Aurora that the person she considers as “fairy godmother” is a “threat to anyone”.
Then, Maleficent showcased her power against them. Before the trailer ended, the new twist was shown. Apparently, the evil fairy is not alone.
Also included in the cast is 12 Years a Slave actor Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will be released in theaters on October 18 this year.
